SH Modern is pleased to present an upcoming afternoon soirée celebrating art inspired by fashion, bringing together contemporary art, style, and community in support of individuals in need across Southwest Florida.
Guests are invited to experience a thoughtfully curated event inside the gallery, featuring distinctive fashion pieces alongside a selection of contemporary artworks. In the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring new or gently used clothing donations to benefit Eva’s Closet and Foundation, extending the impact beyond the gallery walls. A portion of proceeds from both art and fashion sales will also be donated, offering an opportunity to collect with purpose.
Eva’s Closet and Foundation (ECF), founded in 2016 by Jessica Goodall, MSW, serves more than 1,500 individuals each month throughout Southwest Florida. With a mission rooted in compassion and dignity, ECF provides essential items including clothing, shoes, hygiene products, baby supplies, and more at no cost to those experiencing homelessness, poverty, and other challenging circumstances. Named in honor of Jessica’s great-aunt, Eva Engel, who founded a shelter for abused women in Worcester, Massachusetts, the organization continues a legacy of care through both direct support and case management services for families, children, and at-risk individuals.
SH Modern felt a natural alignment with Eva’s Closet and Foundation not only through its meaningful local impact, but also through its origins in Massachusetts, a place closely tied to the philanthropic background of SH Modern’s founder, Sallie Hirshberg.
With decades of involvement supporting organizations such as the March of Dimes, Doctors Without Borders, CJP Women’s Philanthropy and She Gives, and Massachusetts General Hospital, Hirshberg has long prioritized community engagement, a value that continues to shape SH Modern’s mission today.
The event will also feature a special collaboration with Fai Moda, the fashion label created by designer Faith Ashley, known for her individually crafted purses and jackets that balance form, function, and timeless style. Joining her is Blue Blood Metal, a local jewelry design studio that transforms vintage buttons, ranging from the 1940s to the present day, into handcrafted rings and necklaces. Drawing inspiration from nautical, Victorian, and art nouveau influences, each piece carries a sense of history while offering a fresh, modern edge. Together, these designers bring a distinctive perspective to the event, seamlessly bridging the worlds of fashion and art.
This event shows SH Modern’s ongoing commitment to connecting artists, designers, collectors, and the broader community, where creativity and purpose come together to make a lasting impact.
