Carmelo Blandino, born to Sicilian parents in Tübingen, Germany, has had a diverse upbringing in Montreal and Modica, Sicily. Currently residing in the US, he has studios in both Connecticut and Wisconsin. Blandino’s artistic journey began with studying art and design in Montreal, where he found success as a freelance illustrator. However, he felt compelled to create his own artistic legacy, resulting in a rapidly evolving and spiritually guided body of work. Influenced by his multicultural heritage, Blandino’s paintings are known for their vibrant colors, dynamic movement, and captivating forms. Through symbolic abstractions of flowers, landscapes, and faces, he communicates a transcendental narrative. His artwork has been showcased in various galleries across the US and internationally, and he also shares his knowledge and skills through teaching workshops.
